Your Summer in Ottmaring

24/06 - 13/08/2011: Time-out from every day life, distance from all our roles; space for questions; for others, for meaning; open for God; far away from rush hours and consumerism; a round of real time after school; during holidays; between summer and winter term.

• Simple life in boys' flats and girls' flats together with young people from all over Europe

• Every day starts with a spiritual impulse

• Everybody will be earning his or her stay by working 25 hours per week: simple jobs in the house or maintenance work

• Conversation about topics related to faith and culture

• In addition: language lessons in German

• Intense sharing in the life of the ecumenical centre.

• Outings in the surrounding area

• Help to create an "adventure-week" for children between 5 and 11 years

• Optional: A drive together to the WYD in Madrid (14/08 - 22/08/2011)

Condition: Age from 17 to 25 years old (if younger than 18 we need a formal agreement from the parents)

Costs. No costs for the stay in Ottmaring. Everybody pays for the travel costs. The participation of the WYD is optional at extra cost of  € 450 including the travel to Madrid
