LA: Picnic Bar-B-Q

The Youth for a United World (Y4UW) in Los Angeles wrote to us saying:
"Many warm greetings to all!!
We are organizing a Picnic Bar-B-Q on February 24, 2013at Lindberg Park, Culver City. It's chance for us to invite and build bridges with our friends and friends of our friends.  We would also wish to introduce them to the United World Project and invite them to participate by signing the petition, by committing themselves to:

• to live the “Golden Rule” common to the great Religions: “do unto others as you would have them do unto you, do not do to others what you do not want done to you”; 
• to support the future establishment of the “Permanent and International Observatory on fraternity” in order to make known and promote the experiences of brotherhood implemented by individuals, groups and institutions.
• to request to request the recognition on an institutional and international level of another Y4UW activity, which is already operating since 15 years: the “United World Week”, days marked by fraternal initiatives aimed at influencing the public opinion.

Please keep us in your thoughts while we are preparing for this special day.
