Davao, Philippines: Our youth camp

We just had our youth camp with Youth for a United World last weekend. We shared experiences, and did activities and workshops together.

I shared my experience living in the centro gen this is a video greetings.

This is just the youth leaders in their communities as one purpose of the camp is to plan out their upcoming one Day Mariapolis to the city of Samal its an island near my city Davao City, in Philippines.

I was so happy with them as I saw the fire in each one of them. Together with the popi, pope, gen and Youth for a United World of Samal we would like to greet you.

Youth for a United World

We are the “Youth for a United World (Y4UW) Movement” founded by Chiara Lubich in 1985. It is part of the wide ranging Focolare Movement. Our age varies between 17 to 30 and we come from different walks of life. In fact, our main characteristic is universality. We are youth from all over the world and we belong to different ethnic groups, nationalities and cultures. Many of us profess different creeds, whilst some of us don’t have a religious belief; however we are all passionate protagonists striving to build a united world.

Giovani per un Mondo Unito

Siamo il Movimento "Giovani per un Mondo Unito (Y4UW)" fondato da Chiara Lubich nel 1985 e che fa parte del Movimento dei Focolari. La nostra età varia tra 17 e 30 e veniamo da diversi percorsi di vita. In realtà, la nostra caratteristica principale è l'universalità. Siamo giovani provenienti da tutto il mondo e apparteniamo a diversi gruppi etnici, nazionalità e culture. Molti di noi professano differenti fedi, mentre alcuni di noi non hanno un credo religioso; ma siamo tutti protagonisti appassionati nel costruire un mondo unito.
